Being a full pledged Tithe payer doesn't please the enemy but the Lord promised to rebuke the devour......I received a letter in the mail from my mortgage company stating if I didn't pay $1900.00 by 5-18-07 (being 4 months behind) my house was fully in foreclosure. Realizing that the Lord had this one in his hands...I began to give him back his word......Pastor Winston told me that God wanted me to grab hold to faith like never
before...he also said the famine is over in my life...believing the Prophet and the word of the Lord....I called my mortgage company. ...the 4 months of mortgage was cancelled and I was to start over, my mortgage was suppose to have increased $150.00 starting May but in my case it was to remain at the same rate prior to this month. The Lord promised to supply our needs according to his riches in glory. He will never see the righteous nor his seed beg for bread...hold on! God is still in the business....of healing, restoring, and demonstrating his power-fulfilling his word!

I have been a member of Greater Works Ministries for the past 6 years and the ministry is one of the most powerful and anointed I've ever been connected to. Pastor Darryl Winston along with First Lady (Elder) Juakena Winston has proven to be chosen and appointed by God for the kingdom and kingdom building. They both are anointed preachers that teach/preach and live according to God's word.
I have learned so much from Pastor's teaching...and the prophecies he's spoken into my life...continue to manifest to this day. As a result of my being connected to this ministry, my faith has gone through the roof...so much so, my husband and I started a business in 2002, with no bank or other loans. We simply stepped out on faith with the vision of promoting literacy that God had given us. In addition to the business itself and the thriving and popular nationwide magazine that we publish monthly, God blessed us with a fully sponsored wedding worth over 65,000 plus and the wedding was chosen and aired on ABC's Primetime Wedding Special show with Diane Sawyer. As of late, our 20 year old son (who is a third year college student attending UGA in Athens, GA) was cast on a national TV show and won the top prizes (brand new car and $$$$) on the finale' show. One thing that Pastor Winston teaches his congregation is that when you have God's favor in your life, you can trust that God will not only show up in your life...but He WILL show out. We believe and know that because of Pastor's obedience to the call of God on his life....the members are also richly blessed.
These are just a few things that I truly believe happened as a direct result of our being a part of the Greater Works nation. Pastor Winston is an awesome man of God who is well read and God inspired to encourage his members. He looks beyond the natural and sees the God given potential in others. I thank God for Pastor and Elder Winston and I hope they know...they are stuck with my family and I.
We know that God has great things in store for this ministry and we await the overflow.

My name is Johnny Myers I have been a member since 2002 officially, I was homeless addicted to drugs and alcohol for years. I thought many times about ending my life. My life was in turmoil, I met Pastor Winston and the Greater Works family reached out to me while I was strung out on drugs, they saw me not as I was but as I could be. I attended one of the first tent revivals and crushed my crack pipe on the concrete! I am now married, free of drugs, and a business owner.

In 2004, we became pregnant, which was during a transitional period financially seemingly as though we were slowly losing everything. Stress and pressures loomed around us and though we prayed, we didn't have any answers. During the fifth month of pregnancy, we went to our first sonogram. At this time, we were overjoyed to find out that we were expecting twins. Moments later, the sonographer regretfully informed us that she needed to transfer our case to a specialist because she noticed significant birth defects. This Specialist had confirmed the information that we were given previously and strongly recommended termination of pregnancy. Twin A, has what is known as Congenital Heart Disease, and Twin B has a host of other anomolies including Spina Bifida. We wrestled emotionally and spiritually with God through our lack of understanding of the trial that we faced. God led us to keep the children and take this faith walk. Week after week, the doctors negative reports continued. We informed our Pastor and church family and the prayer warriors were activated. God reminded us in the midst of it all He would never leave us nor forsake us and that He is our Healer. Although we knew that GOD IS, it still remained a struggle. The prayers of the righteous truly have availed much because today, God has blessed us with Twin A, Bryce, and Twin B, Bryan who are now 18 mos. old. Bryce who was born 4 lbs. is now 26 lbs. and on no heart medication. Bryan who was born 5 lbs. is now 20 lbs. on no medication and is thriving. Our Family has seen tremendous increase in every area.
We are excited that our God Can and Will Do!!
